They are fat, tall, thin and short.I point to the fat kidand say Look ,This is Peter.He is fat.Look, This is Lucy .She is thin.Do the same withother words.2. Watch TV and read after the tape.3. Write the sentences “This is Ben.He’s tall.“on the board.and let Ss repeat afterme.then show the flash card and teach the new words one by one, then invite students,two by two to read the words and correct their pronunciation.4.I show an action of fat, Ss read fat.Do the same with other words.5.I show a photo of a fat boy,Ss : Fat fat he is fat.Do the same with other words.三、Practice:1. Teach them to work in small groups. I go to a group of four, point to a thin girl and say Look, This is …,she’s thin .teachthe small group of four to say the sentences,No.1 point to No.2 and speak to No.3 andNo.4.then NO.2 point to No.3 and say the sentences to No.1and No.2, They play inthis order.
