My birthday isAugust 2nd.”Ⅲ 教学难点：1、学会掌握序数词1st-10th的拼写和读法。2、运用所学句型询问他人的生日，并能作简要回答。Ⅳ 教具准备：单词卡，生日卡，录音带，录音机。Ⅴ教学过程：Step 1 热身活动1、师生问好2、全班唱英文歌曲: Happy birthday.Step 2 复习导入1、复习序数词，引出序数词的缩写形式的教学。2、复习表示月份的12个单词。然后教师说：January is the firstmonth in the year. February is the second month in the year.引导学生说出其它月份的类似的句子。 月份与序数词缩写形式的对应练习。3、问与答：Where is our school library / computer room… ? It’s on the … floor.4、揭示课题教师边说：Today is September 5th.边板书September 5th. 后带读，接着说：Today we are going to learn lesson 2.板书课题 Lesson 2并领读。Step 3 教授新课1、教学句型教师说：My birthday is September 5th.问某个学生：When is yourbirthday ?引导学生用句型：My birthday is … .板书这两个句子，并多进行几个这样的问与答练习。把写有名字、生日日期的10张卡片，如：LiliJanuary 9thHu PingFebruary 3rdJackMarch4thBillApril 7thPeterMay 5th第 1 页

My father’s birthday is… .My mother’s birthday is …. 接着问学生：When is your father’s /mother’s birthday ? 要求学生用句型：My father’s / mother’s birthdayis …. 来回答。 3、教学课文 第一遍播放录音，要求学生认真听，理解大意，并能大声地读出表示生日的句子。 第二遍播放录音，听音模仿跟读。 角色扮演，如分组、男女生、个别朗读等。 问题抢答：Whose birthday is August 2nd / February 3th /September 7th / December 8th ?谁最先举手就请谁。Step 4 巩固提高课本第六页的第二部分，引导学生看懂其中的ID card进行问答练习：When is Nancy’s birthday? Her birthday is October 3th. 让学生以四人一组进行练习。然后再抽查。让学生分成四至六人一组用When is your birthday ?对周围的同学进行调查，并做好记录，然后每组派代表上台汇报。完成课本第七页的听力练习。说说写写，完成课本第八页的第五题，先让程度好的学生说一说，再要求其他学生写下来。Step 5 课后作业1、完成课本第八页的自我评价。2、听录音跟读课文。3、完成《一册通》上本课的练习。4、用When is your birthday, …? 对家人进行调查，把结果填在第六页的第3部分的表格中，下一节课说给大家听。5、复习Lesson 1, Lesson 2的单词。第 2 页
