Right? Ss: Yes! T: What do you usually do to relax yourselves? S1: Listen to music and watch TV. S2: Read English stories. T: I also like watching TV very much. But I think your parents don’t like you to watch TV too much. Do you think so?T: Today, let’s read a passage about watching TV togetherBy talking with students, the teacher can not only care for the students’ life in Grade 9, but also lead in the today’s topic--watching TV spontaneouslyWhile - reading Task 1 Skim the passage and underline the topic sentence of each paragraph. Task 2 Scan the passage and find out how many parts there are. Task 3 Read the passage carefully and find some detailed information, then fill in the blanks of the table. Task 4 Compare two passages(Passage1 is more coherent and logical than Passage 2, because of using the conjunctions )and let students find out which one is better and why.Task 1 To let students know the main idea of each paragraph.
