Unit 9 The Year 2050Lesson2 Let’s practice 新课标体现: 本单元主要是要求学生能够用一般将来时谈论未来发生的事情。能表达同意或不同意。通过学生植树,清理垃圾这一主题故事的学习,增强学生热爱自然,保护环境的意识。通过畅谈2050年的未来生活,培养学生热爱生活的态度,激发学生探索未来的欲望。Teaching Aims: 1.The students can describe the picture. 2.The students like to learn English. 3.The students can be writing and reading. Teaching Emphasis: 1.Can use "I think……" "I don't think so" to answer. Teaching Difficulty: Emphasis new phrase: have robots at home, work from home, live on Mars, go around by flying car, travel to the moon, live under the sea, take their vacation on the moon, in the future. Teaching process: Step 1:Warm up T:Talk about what will the future be like? S:Answer the question. Step 2:Learn to say: T:Have the children open their books at page 34.Draw their attention to the top of half of the page. Point to the picture and ask"what will the future be like?" S:open the book and answer the question. T:Model the pictures and have the children repeat to use the same procedure with the other phrase in the picture. S:Read the-phrase after the teacher. T:Let students read the phrase


again. T:Let students listen to the tape and phint the new words. S:Listen and point.Repeat atfter the tape. I think people will…… I don't think so.I think people…… T:Prautice in Pairs. Step3: Read and find out T: Ask a question “Do you know why forests are important to us?” S: Try to answer the question. T: Have the children read the text and try to find the answer S: Read the text and find the answer. T: Have the children read the text again more carefully and then work in pairs to check Step 4:Let's sing 1.Listen to the radio and follow it. 2.play again and stopping after each sentences. 3.Have the children to repeat. 4.play again and sing after the tape. step 5:Match and say: T:Match the pictures and the sentences. S:Try to do it. T:check the answer with the children. S:check the answer and read the sentences by themselves. Homework: Read part 2 three times by themselves.
