Use the key sentence “I think people will......in the future.” “I think so./I don’t think so.”to talk. Teaching Procedure: Step 1: Review: 1. Greeting each others. 2. Review some words about Unit 9. Step 2: Learning Aims: 1. The students can talk about the pictures. 2. The students can read the text with the help of the pictures.
3. The students can sing the English song. Step 3: Self-learning Direction: 1. Read the phrases of part one, and talk about the pictures in pairs. 2. Read the text by yourselves, match the right pictures, and Check the answers in groups. 3. Listen to the tape and learn to sing the song. Step 4: Match and Say: 1. Act out every pictures. 2. Have them to match the pictures with the sentences. Step 5: Learn to Say: 1.Point to the pictures and ask a question: “What are they talking about?” 2. Read the phrases in pairs. 3. Ask the students (No.4)how to describe these pictures. T: What this? S1: Study at home. S2: Go around by flying car. 4. Talk about the pictures in pairs. Choose two teams to practice in class. A: I think people will study at home. B: I think so. Step 6: Let’s Sing: 1. Tell the students they will learn an English song, read the words of the song, and try to understand it. 2. Play the tape and talk about the song: T: What will the future be like? 3. Play the tape again and have them to sing the song. 4. Sing the song together. Step 7: Class Test（一）: Show two pictures and let’t act out.
