Step 2 Presentation1. Show a video of Li Xinyu and DingGuanru. They meet each other after five years in a bookstore.2. Check the memories. Let the students to complete the sentences with “used to” or “didn’t use to”.3. Free talk:Give the students one minute to work in pairs and talk about what they used to do and what they didn’t use to do.Step 3 4aTalk about the four people in 4a, and write sentences about the past using used to.Step4(1) Show a two-year-old little boy’s photo.(2) Talk about what he used to be afraid of and what he is still afraid of. (3) Continue to show some pictures.Students look at the video.
