第 九 年级 全一 册第UNIT 4 课Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.新课程标准:本单元主要学习怎样描述自己的变化,让学生能听懂有关过去和现在有什么不用;会描述自己的过去和现在;学习写人物传记;掌握used to do 的用法。教学目标:一、知识技能目标:1、掌握新的单词、词组和新句型。2、掌握used to do的用法。二、方法与过程目标:1、通过听、说、读、写等方面训练学生学习掌握描述过去和现在的对比,及对未来的期望。2、采用任务型教学方式,每节课分配不同的任务让同学们来完成。三、情感、态度、价值观目标:1、引导学生正确认识自己的变化,包括身体和心理两方面。2、鼓励学生大胆表达自己的感受。重难点:重点:1、学习心得词汇和目标语言。2、学会谈论过去和畅想未来。3、掌握used to do 的用法。4、通过听、说、读、写各个方面的训练,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。难点:1、掌握used to do的用法。2、提高学生综合运用语言的能力。教学方法:任务教学法、启发法、总结法单元分配:The First Period Section A (1a-2d)The Second Period Section A (3a-3c)The Third Period Section A (4a-4c)第 1 页

Presentation 1.Show the information in 3a, let Ss guess the order. 2.Choose the type of the article. 设计意图:通过猜测进一步了解文章的内容、问题及结构。StepIV. Reading 1.Fast reading Let Ss read the article fast and check the order they guess. 2.Careful reading (1)Read the first paragraph, answer the following questions:①What did she used to be like?②What is she like now? 设计意图:第一段内容较简单,设计的问题也比较简单,突出本单元的重点,过去和现在的对比,让学生掌握练习新句式。 (2) Before reading the second paragrah, let student discuss a question, “Is becoming famous good orbad? 设计意图:在第二段之前让学生先头脑风暴一下,出名的好处和坏处。复习过去学过的单词,对理解第二段很有帮助。 (3)Read the second paragraph,and fill in the chart.Good ThingsBad Things 设计意图:找出出名的好处和坏处,让一心想成名星的同学认识到事物的两面性,帮助他们理智的选择一些事情。(3) Listen to the third paragraph, and fill in the blanks.
