Unit 5 Lesson 1 Enjoy the Story 教案一、教学目标1. 知识目标:熟练掌握单词height, weight, centimeter, weigh, kilogram, take, center, tall, short, than, heavy, something, wrong.2. 能力目标:The students are required to be able to speak and use these new words freely in daily life. The teacher should as much as he/she can encourage the students to speak English in daily life.3. 情感目标:The teacher should create a condition where the students can enjoy themselves much while they are learning English. In other words, learning English should be fun, not a boring job.4. 过程与方法:通过唱英语歌曲、游戏、表演、单词卡等形式多样的活动让学生掌握本课的单词和句子。二、教学重点1. 学习并掌握词汇:height, weight, centimeter, weigh, kilogram, take, center, tall, short, than, heavy, something, wrong.2. 学习本节课的重点语句: How tall am I? How much do I weigh?三、教学难点1.学习本节课的重点语句: How tall am I? How much do I weigh? 并引导学生们进行巩固和拓展训练。2.熟练掌握并运用描述身高体重的词汇。四、教学过程Step 1 Greeting:T: Class begins.S: Good morning / Good afternoon teacher.第 1 页


T: Good morning / Good afternoon children.S: Sit down, please.Step 2 Presentation:引入并讲解新单词height, weight, centimeter, weigh, kilogram, take, center, tall, short, than, heavy, something, wrong.Teach the word “ height”出示一张姚明的照片。T:同学们,这是谁?S: 姚明。T:他高不高?S:高。T: 那“高” 用英文怎么说呢?来我们一起学吧。 “height” (读几遍,然后抽查学生读,且加以纠正其发音。)老师带领学生认读和理解所有生词。Step 3 Practice:进行操练。Ss1: How tall am I? Ss2:You are 78 centimeters.Ss3:How much do I weigh?Ss4:You weigh 36 kilograms.Step 4 Homework:告诉身边的小伙伴们你有多高,你有多重。第 2 页
