Unit 1 How tall are you?PA Let's learn(P5)教案教学目标1.语言技能:(1)能够运用以下句型,比较年龄、身高、长短: I’m taller than you. You are older than me. Your skirt is longer.(2)能够理解并正确运用以下单词。 taller shorter older younger longer (3)能运用所学知识,介绍“身高与年龄”的调查活动。 Wu Yifan is taller than John, but Zheng Peng is taller than Wu Yifan.(4)能够完成本课相应的学习任务。 2.语言知识:(1) 能够比较自己与他人的身高和年龄,并能比较事物的长短,例如:“I am taller than you. You are older than me. Your skirt is longer than mine.”。3.情感态度、学习策略与文化意识:(1)将学习内容与生活相联系,增强学习兴趣。(2)能将课堂所学运用到生活中,加强英语的实用性与常用性。(3)通过学习了解中西方文化的不同。教学重点1.句型:I’m taller than you. You are older than me. Your skirt is longer.2.词汇: taller, shorter, older, younger, longer教学难点1.理解并能在情景中正确运用比较自己和他人的身高和体重,并能比较事物的长短。教学用具1.与本课时相关的课件。教学过程Step 1:Warming up1.Greeting. 师生使用英语打招呼,教师点名,确定参与上课的人数。2.Let’s sing. 教师播放音乐视频,让学生跟唱一次“My small cat”,让学生在愉快的氛围中展开新课的学习。 My small cat. He’s bigger and longer and stronger than yours.My big dog.Step 2:Presentation1.Look and say. 教师展示图片,图片有教师与学生,以及教师与学生的身高数字,教师向学生介绍自己的身高,并询问学生的身高。T:I am 1.7 metres, how tall are you? S:I am 1.6 metres.用复习上节课内容的方式来引入新知识的学习。教师展示1.7>1.6,与1.6<1.7的比较引导学生说出下面两句话:S:I am taller.S:I am shorter.用同样的方式,能过比较年龄与裙子的长短,分别教学,“older, younger, longer”。2.Look and write. 学习了所有相关的比较词汇,教师通过练习的方式,巩固并分析比较级的组成规律。(1)taller(比较级)__________(2)short(比较级)___________(3)old(比较级)_____________(4)young(比较级)___________(5)long(比较级)_____________ tall → taller short → shorter old → older young → younger long → longer3.Let’s learn. 教师继续播放课件,出示两道题目,学生带着问题学习单词和句子,尝试回答问题。(1)How tall is John? He’s 1.61 metres.   (2)Who is older? Zhang Peng is older.4.Let’s watch and follow. 教师播放课件,播放Let’s learn 部分的视频,教师播放三次视频,第一遍,学生看视频,感知课文内容,第二遍,学生跟读,进一步学习课文第 2 页


内容,第三遍,教师将视频的声音调小,学生给视频配音,教师了解学生的掌握情况,针对学生不熟悉的内容,进一步巩固与操练。5.Let’s read. 教师继续播放课件,呈现图片,接下来,同学们打开课本P5,认读单词和句子。Step 3:Practice1.Key points. 教师播放课件,对本课题的重要知识点,以问答的方式进行一个总结。How tall are you?I am 1.65 metres.Who is shorter than you?John is shorter than me.How old are you?I am 14 years old.Who is younger than you?John is younger than me.My skirt is short.My skirt is shorter than yours.Your skirt is longer than mine.2.Do a survey. 教师继续播放课件,呈现表格,学生看表格,模拟在班中作一个调查,对所学知识进行一个巩固。How old are you?I’m 12 years old.How tall are you?I’m 1.64 metres.3.Make a report.利用调查所得的数据,模拟在班中做一个报告,如: Wu Yifan is taller than John, but Zhang Peng is taller than Wu Yifan.4.Time for exercise. 教师继续播放课件,呈现题目,学生为题目选择正确的答案。(1)You are _________ than me.
